This is the last episode of Game Dev Diaries for a while. I’m now working on balance and testing which don’t really warrant daily episodes. I’ll probably come back near the release of the game for another episode. Anyway, hope you’ve enjoyed the trip through Mega Monster Madness’ development

A lives system is finally in place. We may be rolling this project up soon though, so stay tuned!
In today’s episode, I talk about adding in the new sound effects. There are some other visual changes you can find it you look around, but primarily this episode is about sound. Now, if only I could find some good music…

Some playtesting, some balance, and some minor UI tweaks. Nothin big today!
Another day, another new set of changes to show. I’ve updated the start screen graphics and layout a bit to be more friendly and appealing, along with various smaller changes.
Time to work out some box art! Lots of experimentation today, and lots of getting second opinions on everything. It’s a stressful endeavor.
Day 33 is up! It’s another art day for the project, with some more subtle details being shown.
Today was an art day. I updated the equipment screen to have a respectable backdrop.
Today I modify some graphics and talk about weapon advancement.
